Removing Upper Lip Hair

For a while, I have been thinking about what the best affordable method of removing that upper lip hair that none of us ladies want. After asking friends, esthiticians, dermatologist, and online reviewed products I decided to try them all until I find one that works best for me.

For over 2 years now I have been bleaching my lip hair because I was always afraid of removing the lip hair because it would grow back more and thicker. I used the Sally Hansen Creme Bleach kit.

Since removing my hair wasn't an option for me this worked. I noticed that when I was tan during the summer, the blonde peach fuzz on my upper lip was very noticeable :( Not so much during the winter when I was more pale. But even then, The bleach always missed some hairs so I would have to either keep bleaching or have to tweeze those few hairs which was annoying. I have a high tolerance for pain so the "burning sensation" didn't bother me but I wouldn't recommend it for someone who is sensitive. They also say that bleaching isn't the best method because it can damage your skin.

So finally I decided to try another method. I decided to try waxing. After researching what the best drugstore waxing strips were I came upon Nad's Waxing strips. They smell fresh and are super easy to use. I decided to try waxing because waxing has a better long term effect down the road because there will be fewer and thinner hair growing back because it's taking out the entire hair folicle including the root.

How I use them: I cut the strips down the middle long way. I heat them up using my hair dryer :) when you peel the strip both sides are usable, so if you cut them that's 4 pieces from 1 strip which I think is awesome. So far I love em so much better than waxing and my hair doesn't grow back more and thicker like I feared lol. If anything only a few grow back at a time so they aren't super noticeable.

Finally Say: LOVE EM!
